Safe backend boundary

Public browser traffic stays on Next.js routes. The adapter proxies only the current public Wix HTTP functions and blocks admin-only actions.

Integration snapshot

Stable frontend contract, even when Wix is unavailable.

Live data is fetched through the internal API route so the browser never needs CORS access to the Wix domain.

Live Wix probe

The asset-source probe responded successfully through the server adapter. HTML experiences are fetched on demand through the same pattern.

Browser boundary

Same-origin Next routes

Public browser views use internal Next.js routes instead of direct client-side calls to Wix HTTP functions, which avoids current CORS limitations.
