Companion

Pinkcat does exactly what you ask, every time.

Pinkcat is a command-driven character: you type an instruction, and she moves. Nothing happens that you did not ask for, the same words always produce the same result, and every command is listed in the open — so a learner can predict her completely before they try.

  1. PinkcatHi, I'm Pinkcat. Type a command, or pick one below.
Everything Pinkcat understands

social

  • She looks up, perks her ears and greets you.
  • Anything after “say” appears in her speech bubble.

face

  • A warm closed smile.
  • Open grin, wide eyes, a little bounce.
  • Returns to her resting, steady expression.
  • Head tilts, ears perk, one brow lifts.
  • Eyes soften and she looks up and away.
  • Wide eyes, high brows, open mouth.
  • A steady, pleased half-smile.
  • Ears drop, brows tilt, small frown.

eyes

  • One deliberate blink.
  • Closes one eye.
  • Holds both eyes closed.
  • Opens both eyes again.

gaze

  • Moves her gaze to your left.
  • Moves her gaze to your right.
  • Raises her gaze.
  • Lowers her gaze.
  • Returns her gaze to the centre.

gesture

  • Nods, with a small smile.
  • Shakes her head slowly.
  • Tilts her head to your left.
  • Tilts her head to your right.
  • Levels her head again.

ears

  • Lifts both ears — her listening pose.
  • Drops both ears — how she shows a sound is too much.
  • A quick ear twitch.

state

  • Eyes close and everything settles.
  • Opens her eyes and comes back to calm.
  • Returns every part of her to the starting pose.

Commands can be chained with “then”, “and”, or a comma — for example “look up, tilt your head then smile”. Anything after say is repeated back in the speech bubble.

Why it works this way

Predictable by design

The same command always produces the same pose. There is no randomness and no hidden behaviour, so trying a command is safe and repeatable.

When she misunderstands

Never a dead end

An unrecognised phrase makes Pinkcat look curious and offer the closest commands as buttons, instead of failing silently.

Sensory comfort

Follows your settings

With reduced motion on, Pinkcat holds each pose still — blinking, breathing, and gestures stop, and only the pose itself changes.
